What's this all about then?

JukeStream is an internet radio jukebox service, and it's currently in private beta - congratulations on being invited! Here we'll explain a little more about the service and what we have planned for the future.

Music recommendation and discovery

The idea of jukestream is to function as a streaming radio jukebox hybrid. It is designed to support small, real-time music recommendation and discovery communities. You sign up, get some "plays", then use them to request tracks for everyone to listen to on the live stream. There is a chat box, with status updates, so you can discuss the choices. You can 'like' tracks as they are playing, and in the future, compete for popular track selections and earn rewards!

Use your favourite players

For best results, we recommend using the streaming radio link on the main page, in your preferred music player of choice. If you don't have one, you can always use the in-built player too.

Collection, communities, channels

At the moment, there is only a single community and stream, but the idea in future is to expand the musical collection, and allow the creation of tagged discovery "channels" (like on a real radio!). Our collection is currently growing, so please bear with us in the mean time. Keep an eye out on the site for a suggestion box, where you can suggest artists for us to add to the collection.

How does it work?

Once you've signed up and activated your account, you will be able to see all the functionality on the main page. Search or Browse using the text input and buttons, see your currently queued tracks in the expandable bottom panel. Hope you enjoy the tunes!
